In honor of Stephen’s legacy, The Tunnel 2 Towers Foundation developed the Fallen First Responders Home Program, a mortgage pay off program for families with young children whose first responder family member passed in the line of duty. I am a humble recipient of this program after the passing of my husband Deputy Dallas Edeburn of the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office. He was found unresponsive in his squad car after suffering from myocarditis. Our son was 5 months old at the time.
T2T includes several other programs for our heroes. This includes building specially adapted custom smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders, a village for homeless veterans, and also building mortgage-free Gold Star Family homes for the spouses and children of service members who have paid the ultimate price protecting our country.
When the call came, these brave service members answered. They stood up for us, making extraordinary sacrifices. It’s our turn to stand tall for them. Please consider helping other families like mine and honor those we have lost due to this dangerous and noble profession.
